On May 28 and 29, The City of Baltimore hosted the 2009 Maryland Preservation and Revitalization Conference, sponsored by Preservation Maryland and the Maryland Historical Trust. Using the historic Maryland Masonic Temple, now the Tremont Grand hotel as a home base, the conference hosted a number of sessions, workshops, and walking tours around town. Over 450 attendees participated in the event, one of the strongest turnouts ever. There were a number of sessions of interest to Commissioners. For a summary of three sessions, refer to the latest edition of our MAHDC newsletter, published this June.
